Working meeting on Industrial Relations in Central and Eastern Europe: Challenges Ahead of Economic Recovery

During the period 16-18 May 2016 a project Working meeting was held in Sofia (Industrial Relations in Central and Eastern Europe: Challenges Ahead of Economic Recovery).
Representatives of partner organisations from Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, FYROM, Poland, and Romania took part in it. CED project team members and an expert from the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria were also present.
The main focus of discussions was the research methodology (methods, content, timing) as follows:
  • interviews (questions, participants, joint or similar questionnaire, etc.);
  • focus groups discussions (number of participants, topics of interest, the differences with the foresight workshops, etc.);
  • foresight workshops (methodology, participants, topics to be discussed, etc.).
The participants discussed also the content of the national studies, the comparative report and the video materials. Different points of views were also expressed about dissemination plans (incl. elaboration of infographics). The Working Meeting also included a discussion on organizational, evaluation and monitoring issues.
